Department of Health & Social Care Campaign – Seeking Care Workers & Care Recipients

ET Casting is looking for care workers and care recipients to take part in a new national campaign for the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC).

This campaign celebrates the incredible impact of adult social care and the meaningful relationships that develop between care workers and the people they support. Its aim is to encourage more people to consider a career in adult social care.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking 6 pairs of care workers and care recipients who would be happy to share their experiences on camera.

Care Workers
You may be: 

  • A care home worker
  • A domiciliary care worker
  • A Shared Lives carer

Care Recipients
You may be:

  • An adult (18+) with SEN and/or physical support needs
  • An older adult receiving care in a residential setting

We're keen for the campaign to reflect the diversity of people involved in adult social care across the UK. We would particularly love to hear from care workers and care recipients aged 18–40, alongside older adults, and from people of all genders, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds and communities.


Payment
Successful participants will receive £1,500 per person

This fee covers both filming and campaign usage across the UK in all media, including:

  • TV
  • Video on Demand (VOD)
  • Social Media
  • Digital Advertising
  • Print

Usage is in perpetuity.

Filming
Shoot dates: 1 day during w/c 10th August or w/c 17th August 2026, at the location where care is provided. 
Production will work with contributors, their families, carers, and care providers to ensure any additional access requirements related to the filming process are identified and accommodated.

We would need to receive your application no later than Thursday, 9th July but - the sooner you can apply, the sooner we can put you forward.
